Dining is normally done in the Star Gazer Lounge. This Lounge is open all day for dining or just relaxing and socializing. A wide variety of beverages are available during the day and evenings. The Star Gazer Lounge makes extensive use of Zydar screens to show the stars outside the ship.

Computer systems are used for all aspects of the ship. Standard terminals allow the various functions of the ship to be switched to any  terminal throughout the ship. This allows all but a few functions to be accomplished from virtually any place there is a terminal. Log in ID and passwords must be used to bring up control functions on a terminal. Normally however the ship controls are operated from the primary locations. There are also the specific functional controls in addition to the keyboard and voice entry of the terminals.

In addition, most officers and crew on the Chrispin carry palmtop computers. These can be interfaced into the ship's computer system at any terminal location and a few additional locations.

All terminals can be used as information without log in and passwords. Also the terminals are interfaced to the Zydar system and can display the view from any of the Zydar sensors although not with the clarity of the Zydar screens.

Lifts are located at various points. These are open areas of zero gravity extending through several decks. Lateral motion is dampened and vertical motion is free. Poles around the inside of the lift facilitate pulling yourself up or down. Experienced users learn to made a small jump before entering to begin up or down travel.

Hydroponics gardens are located on the Blue and Yellow decks. These are used to produce fresh vegetables and fruit. It is also used for the life support system in producing oxygen.

The Hanger Deck is at the rear of the Chrispin. It has sealed hanger doors and permeable phased shields. The latter prevent gas to pass and will allow the metallic hulls of the shuttles to pass through. The shields phase lock on the shuttle hull allowing them to slip through while stopping the leakage of atmosphere. Shields are used only during shuttle operations and the doors are normally kept closed.
