Located on the Green Deck, Verdant Park has tennis, volleyball courts, basketball, a woods with a stream and a small beach. The walls have computer driven Zydar screens continuing the park as a hologram. The ceiling is a Zydar screen showing sky scenes. These images were recorded on Earth and are complete with cloud movements and birds. The computer keeps the screens on ship time giving day and night complete with beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Where there are no Zydar screens, the walls are molded to look like an English village and gardens.

Nature sounds are piped in and the ventilators are designed to give breezes with natural variations. The water circulation system causes gentle waves in the lake. A small pier allows access to the deeper water, approximately 5 feet, for those wanting to swim laps. The park is designed to mimic Earth as much as possible. Its 58,900 SqFt is approximately 1.3 acres.

 The Chapel is used for Church services, plays and movies, and large meetings. It uses Zydar Screens to produce a variety of images are available from great cathedrals to country churches to outdoor and mountain scenes.

 Dining is normally done in the Star Gazer Lounge. This Lounge is open all day for dining or just relaxing and socializing. A wide variety of beverages are available during the day and evenings. The Star Gazer Lounge makes extensive use of Zydar screens to show the stars outside the ship.
