 We're back from our annual week at Henderson Settlement at Frakes in Eastern Kentucky. This is a mission of the United Methodist Church, part of their Red Bird Missionary Conference. This is a very depressed area of Kentucky with over 50% unemployment. The average income in Eastern Kentucky is $13,000. The area is around 90% un-churched.
